Atlantic Language Galway was established in 1993. Opening as a small city-centre school, the objective of the school was to provide a quality learning experience for students while showcasing the unique life, traditions, culture and scenery of the west coast of Ireland.
The school's commitment and focus has remained the same through the years. Atlantic Language Galway may have moved to new and modern premises but the welcome and the experience of life on the West coast have not changed. The scenery is still spectacular and the commitment to quality is still the central objective. All of this goes to make Atlantic Language Galway a premium-choice English language school.
Important in quality and standards, the school is recognised as a school for the teaching of English by the Irish Government’s Department of Education and Science. This status is assessed and accredited by the Irish school standards regulator, the Advisory Council for English Language Schools (ACELS). Our teachers are also recognised by ACELS.
Being a friendly place with a personal atmosphere and an international environment is important to Atlantic Language Galway. Being situated in the West of Ireland, the traditions of providing a warm and hearty welcome come naturally.
