The new former capital
Looking at the Berlin Wall today you can hardly guess its former
meaning. Years ago the colorfully painted concrete wall divided
the two German states and, thus, almost all of the world. But
since the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, Berlin has developed
rapidly and became a true metropolis. The impressing government
district with its new Reichstag dome, the many trendy
boutiques, the lovely restored backyards in Prenzlauer Berg,
the Holocaust Memorial, Potsdamer Platz, Museum Island.
And
even at the Berlin Wall today you make friends from all over
the world. Turn your language vacation with us into a unique
and memorable experience – discover an exhilarating worldmetropolis
– explore the German capital!
